Upper Basildon wedding – a very personal, transatlantic affair

Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of photographing Kirsty and Dave’s renewal of vows ceremony.  They were married last year, but due to work commitments they had a very small, low-key wedding.  So exactly one year on they returned to the UK to have the wedding that they really wanted all along, oh and did I mention that the bride organised it all from Seattle?!  The ceremony was beautiful with all of their families involved in very special ways.  The flowers were picked at a pick-your-own flowers farm then arranged by the mother and sister of the groom……the bride made bunting to festoon all around the stable yard……..the cake was a chocolate log pile(!) and the wedding favours were personalised wedding M&Ms……oh, and the bride made hand blown glass ornaments as thank you gifts.  The weather was not at it’s best (ok, very British understatement there) but we managed to get outside for some of the day, and we got some really fun umbrella shots 😀  Anyway, for now I will leave you with a little sneaky peek of the day….

Don’t forget to leave some blog love so that I know you popped over.
