Back in July I photographed the wedding of Bryan and Karl at The Elephant in Pangbourne. Their theme for the day was sunflowers with beautiful hand-made dove grey suits. They had a glorious day for their guests to make the most of the lovely garden, which really suited the chilled out feel to a day that was filled with unadulterated joy.
The boys both got ready in the rooms at The Elephant, which meant I could get shots of them both getting ready with their best men.
Did I mention that the suits were hand-made? Dove grey with yellow stitching and bright yellow lining, not to mention the matching, custom made yellow converse….. heaven!
…oh and this inside …
The humour and joy throughout the day were plain to see….
as were the nerves for a time….
There were a number of guests who had travelled from Australia to share the day, including this gorgeous little chap.
It was a great pleasure to work alongside Iain Bailey photographing close up magic and the reactions of the guests is such fun.
The boys were very keen to get some shots together and we had fun experimenting with slightly less spots in the garden (places where you wouldn’t ask someone in a dress to go!)
As the guests and grooms head inside for the wedding breakfast I will draw this blog post to a close – more to come soon, I promise.
