Streatley Hill a romantic stroll in the sunshine

When I talked with Ant and John about ideas of where to go for their pre-wedding shoot they immediately (and separately) suggested Streatley Hill, which is also a place that is dear to my heart as my husband took me up there for a stroll on my wedding day!  Ant and John had gone there on their first “date” with a packet of ginger biscuits and a flask of tea, so it had plenty of meaning for them.  It is a beautiful spot overlooking the Thames in the valley below.  On a clear day you can genuinely see for miles and miles.  We didn’t have such clear weather but the mist on the hills fading into the distance was just beautiful .  Another reason so many local people love to go up here is that you get really good views of red kits – often flying below you in the valley – we were not disappointed.

I am so looking forward to Ant and John’s wedding next month at The Elephant, it is going to be amazing!

Take a peek and don’t forget to leave a comment so that I know you popped over.
