After we had taken the formal photographs, the scooters proved popular with lots of guests, not least the younger members of the party. Of course I was not shy in taking advantage of their delight…
and who knew that a scooter would make such an amazing flower stand?!
When Jane and I first spoke about their wedding she was a little concerned about having enough light after the ceremony to capture the shots she wanted. I have to say that I don’t think the sun could have been any better for the confetti shots.
The scooter theme continued through the table plan, which was just brilliant…
The table decorations were just as stunning as those in the ceremony room. The ladies at The Garden room really did surpass themselves.
I love that all of the jam jars that Jane had been collecting for months had little tags on them encouraging people to take them home….
Just another scooter shot…
Just in case the guests were still peckish after the fabulous wedding breakfast (the guys at The Elephant really do take great care of your guests and feed them with wonderful food) Jane and Simon provided a sweetie table.
The marshmallows were particularly popular. Yes, I can honestly say they were very, very yummy!
When presented with a chocolate curl with your ice cream, what else is a girl to do but use it as a straw for your ice cream soup?
And nobody can match the energy of young bridesmaids when they hit the dance floor.
Dad may think this little bridesmaid was getting sleepy, but I think otherwise….
Then we had to get the boys outside for one more scooter shot before I slipped away to leave everyone partying into the night.
