Earlier this month I met up with Nichola and Richard and their two gorgeous boys for a pre-wedding shoot. I always like to go somewhere that has some meaning to the couple and that is completely different to their wedding day, but when Nichola suggested Donnington Castle I was over the moon! Two small boys and a castle on top of a hill – what more could I ask for?. The day dawned dry and cloudy but really cold. We managed to stay out of the wind mostly, and once the boys started running around the layers started coming off.
When I suggested piggy backs, this wasn’t quite what I had in mind!
Now that’s better….
Richard proposed to Nichola on the beach at St Ives whilst holidaying there last year. She assures me that the clothing choice for the shoot wasn’t planned, but I have my suspicions…. 😉
By this time the boys were getting cold, so we sent them off with Auntie to get warm and we spent some time doing couple shots. There was a lot of giggling, as you will see, particularly when “practising” kissing shots!
This next photograph was the favourite among Nichola’s friends on Facebook – what do you think?
We had such fun taking these shots, I am so looking forward to the big day next month – it is going to be a hoot 😀
