2014 was another busy year, with weddings, pre-wedding shoots, family shoots, parties, corporate head shots and events. Here are just some of my favourite images from the year. Which one is yours?
The year started well with a pre-wedding shoot on Lardon Chase on a beautifully sunny day…
The first wedding of the year was at The Elephant, one of my favourite venues. The wedding was very small and personal and had lots of lovely features that spoke volumes about the bride and groom….
Another wonderful pre-wedding shoot venue last year was Windsor Great Park with Cari and Andy and once again we had the perfect day for it….
In the spring I was delighted to receive a request from Heather and Tim, whose wedding I photographed back in 2011. They were keen to get some new photographs of themselves and their gorgeous dogs. They were thrilled with the results….
My next pre-wedding shoot also included a fabulous dog, none other than the wonderful Bingley….
He almost managed to upstage Clare and Chris, but not quite 😉
Their midsummer wedding was held at the stunning Basildon House in the rolling Berkshire countryside and they hand-made almost everything.
Cari and Andy also made their own flowers for their wedding which saw me once again at The Elephant in July….
and as for the Scotsman doing the Macarena well…..
When I drove over to meet Loretta and Nathan and their gorgeous daughter, I saw this field of poppies and was just bursting to get some shots there….
Sometimes when you are photographing a wedding bouquet, a setting is immediately obvious, sometimes you have to search a little. I think this one was worth the searching…
Loretta and Nathan’s day at The Barn in Ruislip was gloriously sunny allowing them to really make the most of the lovely gardens…
The Springs golf club was the venue for Xiaoxue and Joe’s wedding at the end of July, with more fabulous weather and more stunning grounds, what a lucky photographer I am…
Family shoots also featured in my 2014, this is one of my favourites from a recent shoot
My year was rounded off, as it has been for the past 4 years now, by a fantastic Christmas bash, this year at Reading Town Hall. The theme was “A night at the Museum” and the photo booth provided plenty of opportunities, such fun….
I hope you have enjoyed following my progress throughout 2014. Which of these pictures is your favourite? Happy New Year to you all and here’s to a successful 2015 in whatever you choose to pursue.
